These are answers to some of the most common questions regarding Ian Stewart's Hypnotism Show. If your question is not answered here, please feel free to visit the contact page and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Question:  What is the cost of a show? 
Answer:  Due to many variables such as time of year, show length, location of performance, travel expenses, customization, etc., posting a fee on this site is not possible. Please contact Ian Stewart's Mind Games Hypnotic Entertainment directly at (902) 890-8721 or Toll Free at 1-877-497-7469, to receive specific fee information regarding your school.

Question:  Do you have  a video available?
Answer:  With efforts to keep the students safe and respect their privacy there is no video footage of Ian’s school shows available.  However, to see him in action at other events check out his main promotional video at https://vimeo.com/76430614

Question:  Are you insured?
Answer:  Yes, all aspects of the business are covered by a $1,000,000 liability policy which was specially made for a stage hypnotist. 

Question:  What is the difference between your show and the other stage hypnotists available?
Answer:  The Ian Stewart School Hypnotism Show is specially designed for school audiences.  Ian Stewart is known for fast paced, high energy performances that are charged with quality and appropriate content for school audiences.

Question:  What are Ian’s qualifications as a performer who uses hypnosis?
Answer:   Ian has worked in the field of entertainment for over 15 years, and in that time has hypnotized thousands of people.  He has been personally trained by many of the worlds top hypnotists and holds certification with all the major organizations in the field, including:  the National Guild of Hypnotists, The International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association and the National Board of Hypnosis Education and Certification. 

Question:  How long is the show?
Answer:   Generally the show is 75 minutes.  Other lengths are available upon request, as short as 20 minutes and as long as 2 hours. 

Question:  Can pictures be taken during the show?
Answer:   Depending on the school pictures may be allowed, it is up to the school or school board.  

Question:  Who is the show appropriate for?
Answer:   The show is appropriate for all ages as long as the majority are over 12 years old. This performance is designed specifically for a school audience and as such, you can be guaranteed it is appropriate for your school.

Question:  What does the school need to do in preparation for the show? 
Answer:  About 15 to 20 chairs placed in the performance area and two working electrical plugs within fifty feet of the stage is all that's needed to have a show.  Ian carries equipment capable of providing sound for crowds of up to 2,000 people.  If your school has a system and would like to use it,  Ian's system can be patched into it providing it is of suitable quality.  Good quality sound is essential to the performance.

Question:  Is Hypnosis dangerous?
Answer:  Hypnosis is not dangerous if done by a properly trained practitioner.  Ian’s background in hypnosis ensures that all volunteers are safe throughout the show. They leave the show feeling as if they have taken a refreshing nap and often spend considerable time telling fellow audience members about the great experience they had onstage.

Question:  Do you only perform in Maritime Schools? 
Answer:  Living in central Nova Scotia makes travel to any school in the Maritimes easy.  Because of this, most of the schools Ian performs in are Maritime schools.  However, Ian often travels throughout Canada performing.  Feel free to contact us to see when we're in your area, and multiple show discounts may apply.
